Escape for a weekend of Ashtanga yoga, guided mountain hikes and amazing organic vegetarian food deep in the Wicklow woods. This weekend retreat will be a deep immersion in traditional Ashtanga yoga consisting of morning mysore style classes, afternoon hikes in Glendalough and the Glenmalure Valley with our mountain guide, Rory and evening guided meditation classes. The retreat centre is a peaceful haven with shared en-suite accommodation and delicious organic vegetarian food.

Weekend Schedule


  • 5.30 – 7 pm: Arrival and settle in
  • 7 – 8 pm: Dinner
  • 8 – 9 pm: Yoga Nidra Relaxation Class


  • 8 – 8.30 am: Breathwork Class
  • 8.30 – 10.30 am: Mysore Style Class (suitable for beginners)
  • 11 am – 12pm: Brunch
  • 12- 6 pm: Guided hike in Glenadlough with a mountain guide
  • 6.30 – 7.30pm: Dinner
  • 8 – 9 pm: Yoga Nidra Relaxation Class


  • 8 – 8.30 am: Breathwork Class
  • 8.30 – 10.30 am: Mysore Class – Suitable for beginners
  • 11 am – 12 pm: Brunch

Experience the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method with careful emphasis on the traditional vinyasa system. We will be moving through the Primary series to help you understand the dynamics and the breakdown of this system. There will be a strong focus on key alignment techniques, providing you with concrete information to flow through your practice from one posture to another more fluidly. There will also be a strong focus on how to apply the Tristana method of breath, posture and focal point to train the mind transforming your physical practice into a moving meditation. Open to all levels. All Mysore practitioners are encouraged to attend.

These monthly workshops are suitable for all levels (including complete beginners) that would like to learn the traditional way to practice Ashtanga Yoga. You will be guided through the correct breathing technique and a series of the basic fundamental postures. You will develop a strong foundation and the confidence to transition into the Mysore classes.

Introductory class plus one month of unlimited classes – €100 or Introductory class alone – €30.
