I’m delighted to start teaching again after spending the Summer studying with my teacher in Mysore, India. I’m feeling fully rejuvenated for you all coming straight from the source of Ashtanga Yoga!

The evening Mysore classes will start tomorrow, September 4th in Lotus Yoga located on 5 Little Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin 2. The classes will run from 5.30pm until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I’ll be expanding the schedule and I’m on the lookout for a venue with availability on Monday and Wednesday evenings as well…

Lotus Yoga studio is a great location in the heart of the city centre with plenty of public transport and on street parking – see: https://ashtangayogaireland.ie/location-2/ 
You can rent mats but it’s advisable to bring your own if you can. You can find class prices via (https://ashtangayogaireland.ie/prices-2/ and you can either pay by cash on arrival or online beforehand.

Doors will open at 5.30pm and beginners are welcome. If any of your colleagues or friends would like to join please ask them to contact me beforehand to arrange a suitable start time for their first class. This will ensure that they get a thorough introduction to the practice and all my regular students still gets lots of help and guidance.

I’ll also be teaching monthly Workshops on the ‘Full Primary Series’ starting on Saturday, September 29th from 10.30am-1pm. These workshops will be an invaluable investment for all levels and all Mysore practitioners are encouraged to attend. (See full details below.)

There are two last spaces available on the upcoming Weekend Retreat from September 21st-23rd. Our bespoke Weekend Retreats are the perfect combination of traditional Ashtanga yoga, guided hikes in magical Glendalough and the Glenmalure Valley and delicious vegetarian food (see full weekend schedule below.) We’ll be keeping the group small to ensure lots of individual attention so let me know if you would like to book.

I’m also available for private one to one sessions and group corporate classes. Let me know if you would like to arrange a tailored class to suit your individual or group needs.

Experience the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method with careful emphasis on the traditional vinyasa system. We will be moving through the Primary series to help you understand the dynamics and the breakdown of this system. There will be a strong focus on key alignment techniques, providing you with concrete information to flow through your practice from one posture to another more fluidly. There will also be a strong focus on how to apply the Tristana method of breath, posture and focal point to train the mind transforming your physical practice into a moving meditation. Open to all levels. All Mysore practitioners are encouraged to attend

Weekend Retreat in Mucklagh Lodge, Wicklow from September 21st to 23rd

Escape for a weekend of Ashtanga yoga, guided mountain hikes and amazing organic vegetarian food deep in the Wicklow woods. This weekend retreat will be a deep immersion in traditional Ashtanga yoga consisting of morning Mysore style classes, afternoon hikes in Glendalough and the Glenmalure Valley with our mountain guide, Rory and evening guided meditation classes. The retreat centre is a peaceful haven with shared en-suite accommodation and delicious organic vegetarian food.
