We’re loving the bright Summer mornings for the early morning Mysore classes!

It’s such a joy to hear the collective sound of the breath amongst all of you on your mats every morning and evening..

Ashtanga Yoga is often misunderstood as a purely physical practice. However it is quite simply a breathing process guiding us in to a moving meditation. We’re using our bodies to cleanse through all the stuck material on a physical but more importantly, on an emotional level. Once we surrender to the purity and simplicity of this deeply transformative Ashtanga system, life becomes a lot more joyful!

May will be a busy month with our regular 7 mornings a week early morning classes, 4 evenings a week classes and the introduction of our new Monday & Wednesday lunchtime classes!

I’ll also be teaching a special ‘Tristhana Workshop’ on Saturday, May 21st (see below..) and an Introductory Workshop on Saturday, May 14th – beginners most welcome!

See you at the Shala,

Gillian x
