Spaces are filling up fast for the December 2nd Introductory and the key principles of back bending workshops!
Many people think that back bending comes easy to me – let me tell you that this is far removed from the truth… however, my experience is that facing the daily work in back bending and front stretches brings deeply therapeutic benefits on both an emotional and physical level. It doesn’t matter whether you’re doing a deep backbend or a beginner backbend because the emotional state that gets triggered is really of paramount importance. When things are difficult, scary and emotional it’s hard to remain calm, breathe and think clearly.
We’ll be moving through the primary series learning how to direct your body with sound anatomical instruction and mastering the correct breathing technique. All levels of practitioners with some prior experience of Ashtanga are welcome.
I’ll also be teaching an Introductory Workshop from 10am-12pm on Saturday, December 2nd which is suitable for all levels, including complete beginners or anyone looking for a refresher in the basic fundamentals.
Spaces are limited to for both workshops to ensure everyone gets lots of individual guidance and support. See ashtangayogaireland.ie/yoga-workshops for bookings or feel free to email at email@example.com if you would like any further details before booking your spot.
I’m teaching all the morning and evening Mysore classes this week – see you on your mats!
