It’s that time of year when many of us are settling back into a routine after Summer breaks. Personally, I love this time of year as we watch the Autumnal leaves fluttering to the ground, we are reminded that nature’s cycles are mirrored in our lives. Autumn is a time for letting go and releasing things that have no longer serve us. It’s the perfect time for new beginnings.

Ideally, we roll out our mats and practice daily, however, I know that many of you are coming back after taking a break over the Summer. And that’s ok!

There’s no need to beat yourself up – all that matters is that you get back into the shala and on to your mat. Just remember how good practice makes you feel!

Following our last very popular Ashtanga Vinyasa Workshops, I’ll be teaching another2 workshops on Saturday, September 30th. We’ll be delving into the dynamics and breakdown of the Vinyasa system which is a must for all Mysore practitioners! Spaces are limited so please let me know if you would like to come along or you can book via the details below.

The next Introductory Workshop will be on Saturday, October 7th (details below) However, as always, you don’t need to wait until then to come back to practice after a break or to start from the beginning. Just email me and we’ll arrange a start time for you.

The Autumn/Winter schedule is back in full swing with Mysore classes Monday-Friday from 6.30-9am and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm.

See you at the Shala,

Gillian x
